Ram HD models equipped with the 6.4L HEMI V8 gasoline engine or the 6.7L Cummins
Turbo Diesel offer available dual alternators:- On 6.4L engines, (160-amp + 220-amp) alternators can generate 389 amps total
- On 6.7L engines, (220-amp + 225-amp) alternators can generate 440 amps total
- Extra output to confidently power demanding electrical apparatus (example: increased functionality for snowplow packages)
Six Auxiliary Switches
No need to cobble up the vehicle to accommodate upfitter add-ons!
Six auxiliary are available and integrated on the instrument panel:
- Each is linked to an auxiliary Power Distribution Center located under the hood
- One fused 20-amp battery feed
- One fused relay-controlled 20-amp ignition
- The auxiliary switches are capable of 40-amp loads
